Great Americans

Pocahontas was born arround 1595 in Virginia.
When she was a child, she lived in the same place where she was born.
She didn,t go to school or, at least, not the kind of school we go to today.
She was a native american, the daughter of a chief, and she bacame famous because she saved the life of John Smith, an English colonist.
She got married to another colonist, with whon she travelled to England, where she bacame a celebrity.She had one child, a son called Thomas.
She died in England in march 1617, at the age of 21.
