Hi!!
I'm María and I'm going to tell you something about our neighbourhood, where our college is situated.
Most of us live in Aluche, it's a neighbourhood in Madrid that belongs to the district of Latina, it's near Plaza España, Madrid. It has 75.871 people; it's one of the most populated districts in Madrid.
Aluche has got a beautiful park called "Parque de Arias Navarro" in this park it takes place the annual festival's of the neighbourhood, which start on 20th of May and last for a week and all the people in the neighborhood is attending. They are very popular because of different musical groups, a fun-fair, attractions, children's activities, and very popular places where you can eat and drink,... are very funny!
In this area, there are also several sports activities( basketball and football fields tennis courts, a sport center). And nex to it is the "Casa de Campo", an ideal place for walking, go to the zoo, and a permanent fun-fair.
With all that I think it is a perfect neighbourhood to live!

My school

Hello I am a student of bach in Mariano Jose de Larra school, I am doing evening classes and I attend 4 hours classes daily in different subjects. Classes begin at 18:30 and finish at 22:25. To come to school it takes me about 10 minutes walking and by bus about 5 minutes. My school is not far from my house, so it is not difficult for me to arrive punctual The school is big, it has everything we need to be able to study and learn. The teachers are excellent. Somebody comes from abroad to Spain to study Secondary School or the Bach. The school is appropriate for anyone who would like to study hard.

Hi, my name is David.At last I was able to enter the blog. Mi favourite band is Estopa, my favorite football team is Atletico Madrid, this team belongs to Madrid. It was created in 1903 and Vicente Calderon is its stadium's name, built in the Manzanares river. Its fans have supported the team in prosperous times and drawback. Belonging to the 'Atletico' gives you a kind of feeling that is deep inside you and you cannot explain in simple words. Atletico Madrid is also the name of the puppet as it is capable of anything, eiher win or lose a match.

Hi My name is Kevin, I'm 17 years old, I'm studying 1º Bachillerato at Mariano Jose de Larra school, Madrid.
I like listening to music, my favourite bands are Amanda Woodward, The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, Esconder Micara, Asamblea Internacional del Fuego, The Kooks... and everything that is alternative rock, screamo, hardcore music, I like them, how they play the guitar and the drums and also how they sing. Right now I'm learning how to play the drum with my cousin, we both like the same music but he prefers playing the guitar and I like more playing the drums and singing.
I wish I could have a band and would be able to record a CD

My Last Holiday in the Mediterranean Sea

Last summer I went with my family to the South of Spain (Murcia) to the beach, to spent my holiday with my grandmother.

The town I went is called "Los Alcázares" , It is so beautifull place to spend a greats holidays, Its like at 6 kilometres from San Javier where you can go to a big comercial center called "Dos Mares" that have a bowling, a big cinema and also too many restaurants and shops.

In the town there is a big passage near the beach where the people usually take a walk and in the morning the people usually get a swim at the beach.

This is a great piece of news. Our blog has just been born and we all have to be delighted to have a space to write about our thoughts and wishes, so we can have contact with other students spread all over Europe, and the whole World. We offer them our room so they can enjoy our friendship and we also welcome everybody who would like to join us. Isn´t that great!
From now we can keep going on our travels, hobbies, etc., telling them about our friends and the place where we live. They all will be happy to know about you. That way, the narrow borders will be wide opened and our sound will be heard there, where there is a hearing ready to listen to you.
