The Three Little Pigs

Once upon at time, there were three little pigs that lived in the country side, who decided to build three houses, one for each one.
The first pig built his house with straw, the secondpig built his house with wood and finally, the thirth pig built his house with bricks and concrete. As the first pig finished his house faster, and the wolf went first to him, because he was hungry. The wolf started to blow and the house broke and the pig ran to the second little pig's house.
Then, the wolf run to this house and started to blow and the house broke too. The two pigs ran to the thirth little pig's house. When the wolf started to blow, the house didn't break and he thought to go into the house through the chimney. When he was getting down, the three pigs switched on the fire and the wolf burnt.

A Personal Object

I have got a folder where I have been keeping along the years crafts, stories or pieces of paper I've written or done since I was a little girl. My parants had begun to collect all things taht I was doing in this folder, but gradually I started to keep stuffs that were important to me or things that in the future I would like to find them collected there.
Recently, the day I was sixteen, I decided to open it and saw what I had got into it, because I only kept things and not get stuffs. It made me very excited to discover so many things I had done, something I had written and even, old photographs of my childhood. When I finished seeing it, I closed it and decided to add more items into the collection, until I'm 32 years old, so I could have a pleasant surprise then, as I had got it few months ago.

SHALPBLUE

Some time ago in a valley with a volcanic land, a few very special beings lived there. They had got small and yellow eyes. They also have got hair all over the whole body. Normally they were slightly nice than other animals. These fantastic prominent figures had been bewitched by a witche for many years. The punishment consisted of turning them into "shalpblue" for having tried to save a dragon that wanted to kill the witch. The dragon before tha charm was the Prince of the castle and the "shalpblue" had been the inhabitants of that city. When they were going to rescue the dragon and to finish with the witched which badly went out, and the witch surprised them and turned them into those small embittered beings.

The Guitar is for me the most important musical intrumet in the world becouse I love playing music

I always wanted yo play the guitar .I have ben playing since October of 2008.
I love the improvisation and discover new sounds with my guitar.
I have goy a guitar ,two amplifiers and one pedal.
Everyday I have yast look forward to coming back home to play my guitar.

EEUU. vs SPAIN

In my opinion, I reckon that EE.UU is a country more developed than Spain, because there, they speak English and this is the language most spoken around the world, even more than Spanish. The American technology is also more advenced and more modern and more practicall than the one made in Spain. But on the other hand the Spanish gastronomy and history, both are richer and more interesting.
So, I find the USA an interesting country, but I prefer living in Madrid, at the moment, as we´ve got here the best beaches and a sunny weather.

MY COUNTRY

I agree with people who says that Spanish people are lazy, but not everybody.
On the one hand, I´m ashamed of beeing Spanish, because a lot of people sometimes are impolite and some are racists. I reckon if people change a little bit, the society will be getting all people more tolerant.
On the other hand, I´m proud of being Spanish, because we´ve got a lot of culture and a excellent Mediterrean diet. The Spanish people are also sociable and very friendly, like in Andalucia...
In my opinion, Spain is a wonderful place where you can have a comfortable and lovely life.

Michael Jackson

I´m going to write about Michael Jackson, because I love his music.
He didn´t have a happy childhood: his father hit him and made him and his brothers work hard. Since he was a child, he had got a great voice and was charming, so people loved him. Soon he left the family group, The Jackson´s Five, to become a solo star.
He had a great career, he became The King of Pop and sold millions of records. He loved children, so he donated a big part of his money to help them. He even built a thematic park beside his house, Neverland.
Because of that a lot of people considered him a weird person and they critized him.
He died on 25th June 2009, when he was 50. It was unexpected, beause he was healthy and was about to start a tour. The worst part of that was that many people, above all on television, critized him. I think that the only thing that could matter was that The King of Pop had died.

MY GLASSES

I´m always wearing my glasses. Only, I take them off when I go to bed. I have been wearing them since I was two.
I like them because they allow me to see better. A lot of people are wearing glasses to look prettier, particularly women; altough, they haven´t got any vision problems. I don´t want to wear contact lenses, bacause my glasses are a part of my personality.
I think glasses are better than contact lenses, and I will never get rid of them.

The plot of a film: HONEY

HONEY is one of the best film hip-hop dance films of the year. Jessica Alba plays the part of Honey, a hip hop dance teacher. The story takes plays in Manhattan in 2007.
The films is about a hip-hop teacher who wants to be a coreographer studio then she had lot of problems. The acting in general is excellent. Li´l Wayne is totally convincing as the boyfriend of Honey and Lucy Deepsilve makes a ridiculous bad role.
The plot is easy to follow and the dialogue is hilarous. The only thing that dissapointed me was the soundtrack wich wasn't really great.
This film is amazing. It made me cry ang laugh. My recommendation is to go and see it now

A Superhero

One of the most powerful superhero is Superman.
He is faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive and able to leap tall buildings in a single bound. Superman has great powers including this see through walls, fly at high altitudes, have a super power, being able to seduce women and many more.
Superman is vulnerable to kryptonite is a radioactive material that if he approaches it, Superman lose his powers.
He has many enemies that he must overcome to save the world, some of them are: Lex Luthor, Anomaly, Mr. Z, Cerberus and many more.
The true identity of Superman is Clark Kent. The world doesn´t know he is Superman, not even his girlfriend Lana Lang.

My favourite athlete

One of my favourite athletes is Rafael Nadal. Is the best player in Spain and the second best in the world. He is very good playing and he plays all the tournaments every month abd he win many of them. Now he´s the second of the world behind Federer, who is number one from three monts. Nadal makes much money for each match played and more if it wins. He can get to use up to three racquets each match because it has a good lucky racquet. Rafael Nadal has received many awars and he still can do more with only twenty-three years old.

My computer

My computer is important to me. I have it whenever I need and helps me a lot. With my computer review information about jobs or my homework and sometimes it helps me to study, for example, in English: www.ego4u.com For that and more, I use it, is to check my email and chat with my friends by messenger. I can also see videos and pictures of my friends and play games online with many people. I have two computers, but I use the laptop more, because I can take it anywhere and lan connect to the Internet.
In conclusion, my computer is fantastic and I´m very happy with it as long as it doesn´t break.

Restaurant!

Lucia is a little girl who is helping her mother in a humble stall of home-made food. They go to a different place every day. People love Lucía and her mother's home-made food.
They have recently had a lot of customers in their stall. They have earned a lot of money and Lucia's mother has already saved the money in the bank. In the last two years they have earned so much money that they have opened their own restaurant, although Lucia couldn't work with her mother because she is only ten years old. Lucia's mother will be rich because of her work in the restaurant and Lucia will work there when she is eighteen years old.

Description

A TV is a black and square object. Nowadays, they are usually thin, but in the past they used to be very thick. It has a screen where you can watch the programmes and it has the make under and in the middle of the screen. Furthermore, there are stickers on TVs which explain the information about some qualities of the TV. Apart from this, the object has different lights to note if it is on or off and two loudspeakers to hear the sound perfectly. To change channels you must use the remote control and press the suitable buttons.
The TV is something special because everybody stays there in front of it whle watching it. Everyone watches TV very often, at least two or three hours a day, that means about 18 years in a whole human life. Usually there are very bad programmes on TV, but sometimes there are other very interesting programmes like films and documentaries.

Superhero

Spiderman is a superhero who saves people when they need it. He wears a blue and red and striped suit that he only uses when he has to help somebody. He has got strange things in his wrists, which he uses to make spiderwebs; he moves in a particular way: he sticks his spiderwebs on the skycrapers and he uses them to move up and down. Furthermore, he is very strong, he can stick himself on all the surfaces and he has got the "spider sense" that helps him to know the future; because of it, Spiderman knows the bad things taht are going to happen.
Spiderman is not only a superhero, but also a common person, a photographer who works in a journal. His real name is Peter Parker, and his girlfriend's name is Mary Jane. Peter has blue eyes and brown hair and he is young. He lives with his grandmother. Peter has a difficult life, because he has two different lifes in one.

My Favourite NBA player

If you asked me about my favourite NBA player,the answer shold be Michle Jordan 5 years ago, but now it has changed to Yao Ming.
The 2006-2007 regular season of NBA will start soon. As the center of Houston Rockets, the proud of our Chinese Yao Ming is becoming more and more dominant in NBA, the first class basketball league has came to much more highlighted. Especilly in China, all the Chinese basketball fans see the Rockets as their hometeam. I'm the super fan of it. And of course, fan of Yao too.
Several days ago, Yao twisted his ankle in the match VS Orlanto Magic. It really depressed me as the unending injuries had haunted the Rockets for the last whole season. I was so happy to know a few days later that Yao's health is improving and will be healthy enough to face the challenges of the new season. He is always performing like a gentleman no matter he is in the match or in daily life. I think he is a perfect delegate of China to the whole world.

Hansel & Gretel

Hansel & Gretel lived with their father and stepmother. As they were very poor, the stepmother convinced the father to abandon the children. The father wasn't sure, but he accepted. And one morning they took the kids to the forest and left them there. They were lost and hungry for several days. Finally, they found a wonderful house made of sweets. The doors were chocolate, the windows were made of sugar, and the roof of candy. Thay happily launched into eating glass and windows. But soon a horrible witch came out of the house: she got on Hansel up in a cage and forced Gretel to be as a servant. After a time, the witch thought Hansel was fat enough to be eaten, but Gretel pushed her into the fire. While the witch was burning, Gretel rescued her brother. Then they filled their pockets with precious stones that were on the house. After walking for a long yime, they returned home, where the stepmother had died. The three of them were happy and never separated.

IT ISN´T THE CLIMATE CHANGE

A day as any other, I was in my laboratory alone. Suddenly, I mixed two substances and some seconds after, it exploded unexpectedly. A fly set in the mixture and it began to grow and grow. ¡Oh my God! I had invented a potion which makes anything bigger.
I was thinking about what I should do to get rid of the potion, and finally, I decided to destroy it. I had tried with everything when I thought about to throw it to the sea. It was my only option. When I threw it, the level of the sea began to grow bigger and bigger.
People thought that it all was about the climate change, but in fact it was due to my potion.

Spain, My Country

In my opinion, Spain is an excellent country to live in, although maybe the U.S.A. offers more work opportiunities in which I can be interested in. For instance, I want to work in something related to Biology, and overthere there are more opportunities. But in the U.S.A. there is much pollution and worst food too. I think that they should always be fat and ill. Also the public transport is better in here.
However, the U.S.A. calls my attention as it is a big and new country, but I like Spain a lot. Another reason is that in here all my family and friends live, and I need them all.
One the one hand, U.S.A. is the richest and most populary country in the world. The people in Spain could be considered no so polite as in the USA but it is my country and people here are very kind.
In conclusion, I can do all that I want in Spain, and maybe in the future, I will travell to the U.S.A. and I'll visit aswell other countries all over the world.

Opinion of my country

I am both proud and ashamed to be a citizen of Spain.

On the one hand, I don´t like Spain because of the practice of bullfighting,that killing the bulls that some people call it a kind of art or culture.For instance, some people, the bullfighters, kill a bull because a lot of people pay for the attraction seeing how they kill a bull. I am also ashamed of my country because each time there is more corruption, particularly among politicians.
On the other hand, I like Spain because I think it is a country where you can enjoy a lot of sightseeing,and museums,you can admire history and art. There is also a great variety of hotels and restaurants where you can stay the night and eat very well. In Spain there are a lot of different traditional food.
Furthermore, the beaches of Spain, are one of the best in the world, especially the beaches of the Mediterranean sea, that are very warm.

In conclusion, Spain is not the best country of the world, as any other countruy can't be, because every country has got pros and cons, so I´m proud of being Spanish.

Linlang / A Story between Ana and Juan.

A week later Ana walked into Juan's restaurant. Juan saw her. But Ana glared at him. Then Juan gave her a piece of paper. In the paper Juan wrote something to her, saying that the food was not healthy. It couldn't help people to become slim. 'You ought to make your food healthier'. Ana said, 'I won't believe you, you are a spy'.
After that, Ana went back to her home and she thought, 'I want to win, I ought to win customers back'. So she stayed at home a week and tried to make her food healthier and delicious. After a week, she returned to her restaurant and told someone about her food, that now it was healthier and delicious. In her restaurant she made her customers enjoyed her food. At last, she had won some customers back. She thought she had won. She saw Juan walk in and he told her 'Congratulations! I have been looking forward you have a holiday for some time'. Ana was very moved. She said 'I want to run the business'. In the end the business was a success.

Andrea../ "STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN"

Is one of the best romantic films of the year. You know Sang Woo plays the part of Song Joh, who went to the US with the promise that she will return.

The story takes place in South Korea in between late 2003 and 2004.The film is about two teenagers in love. They are both friends from chilhood and share a similar fate. The acting in general is excellent. Shin Hyun Joon is totally convincing as a romantic toward her and Jung Suh makes a brilliant part. Shin Hye is going abroad to study with her young lover. But their dream can't be carried out and they should stay in Korea and live a litte of hardship. The plot is easy to follow and the dialogue is brilliant.
Another thing that I enjoyed was the soundtrack which is really great. This film is amazing. It made me cry.
My recommendation is to go and see it now.

Hip-Hop? O.S.T.R.

Many people think hip-hop is listened only just by junkies gangsters, and for many people hip-hop is rubbishe.
In my country this type of music is unfortunatly not very well considered, but there is one person who proves to everyone that hip-hop is not dead. This person is Adam Ostrowski better known as O.S.T.R. He was born on 15th May 1980 is one of best rappers in Poland, famous especially for his free style rap skills.
Having graduated from music school and playing the violin, O.S.T.R. is one of the few Polish rappers who has got a basic musical education.
I think he's a good example that hip-hop isn't music only for "bad boys", because this rapper doesn't sing only about raves and joints but about current social problems and political matters too. His songs are about reality!
Certainly in your country you know a singer who fights against political lies, corruption, and social problems, using beats and voice. Listen to him, listen to your heart.

Spain is a small country but it is very important, it has very important cities, for example, Madrid, Barcelona... these cities have a lot of monuments and important buildings.
Another important thing is the Spanish language, spoken all over the world, but the most imortant of Spain is its climate and the beaches which makes a lot of people come to Spain. I do not like everything of it, but it is my country. I like the people of Spain, they are very friendly and nice, I like food, it is very good,
I love the mountain ranges of Spain, they are very beutiful, for example, Sierra de Guadarrama, in Madrid, Picos de Europa, in the North.
But I hate the 'fiesta' in Spain, for example, "San Fermin"
We should talk about pollution, and Madrid, althoug it is very beautiful and has got green areas, it is a city with a lot of pollution.

Linlang/ Film Review "The Night at the Musem"

First of all, I think that the movie THE NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM should be considered a very successful film and television work, it is a science-fiction narrative genre, a combination of ancient and modern stories. Although the plot is not complicated, it includes a great amount of knowledge and philosophy.
Larry, who is the main character in this film, is a failure, he can't keep any job for long, he is divorced and has got a son, Nick. Larry fears that his son is getting close to his successful stepfather. After getting fired he takes the job at a museum as a guard. The museum has magical powers. Soon he finds out it comes alive at night. He takes his kid to work to show him that the wax statues come alive at night. At first, he thinks that his dad has completely lost him but soon he realizes that he is right about the museum. Together they fight the three evil former night guards and they both were also able to increase the number of people coming to visit the museum. Larry's boss fires him but he was rehired after the media coverage and increased tickets sales.
This movie was definitely a surprise with other actors making their appearance (i.e. Owen Wilson). Ben Stiller was hilarious and the movie above all is great all along with the special effects. Definitely a great movie that made my family laugh and totally enjoy every moment of this movie. This was one of those surprise movies that had great special effects and some great surprises and twists. The movie is definitely moving at a great speed, it is not boring at all. Robin Williams was great as President Teddy Roosevelt. For those who think this movie was not that great have no imagination, because each one of my friends ranging from an age between 14-21 loved it, and that fact speaks for itself. I promise that I would go to see it again.
The film is very interesting and wonderful, it won't disappoint you.

United States vs Spain

I know that the United States seem the best country in the world, but Spain isn't less. Both countries have advantages and disadvantages that I'm going to explain now.
On the one hand, in the United States, for instance, you can see a lot of poverty and pollution and they don't distribute the money well. In the USA, there are good things, as this country is the land of opportunities, where all people have equal rights, particulary talking about music and cinema.
On the other hand, in my country, there are other negative aspects, for intance, the investigation is not so develloped, if we compare it to other European countries; at this moment, there is a lot of unemployment and the results referring to education are very low. But there are also good aspects, such as the National Health Service. There is a lot of cultivated people and last, not the least, Spain has got a varied gastronomy.
In conclusion, my opinion is that although the United States is the richest country in the world, Spain is better than the USA, because, according to statistics, Spanish people are nicer and happier.

My country

My country isn´t a big country, but it has important things. On the one hand, it has a good climate all year around,with best beaches in most of the country. Spain has important cities, such as Madrid and Barcelona, and great monuments, for instance, the popular Retiro Park, in Madrid, and a famous cathedral built with popular contribution by Gaudi, in Barcelona.
The lenguage is one of the most important on the world and due to this fact, it has got a great tradition in Literature, and it has got a great culture. On the other hand, although my country is not big, it has a population of about forty two million people. People are polite with tourists. I also like its old streets and famous buildings.
In conclusion, my country is not perfect. However, in my opinion, ther are more things to be proud of, for example,Spain is reach in hospitality, kindness, common sense and friendship.

My opinion about Spain

I´m both proud and ashamed of being a citizen of Spain.
Firtsly, people walking out here are not very tidy, they don´t try to keep the streets clean. In addition, we produce a lot of waste, and rubbish, so we pollute the environment everyday. Moreover, our country is famous for the bullfighting. I think it is cruel to treat animals that way, and I don´t like it.
On the other hand, our country gives opportunities to everyone, as now we live in a multicultural society. Furthermore, Spain is hihgly developed in science and medicine.
Spain is not perfect, altough, in my opinion, there are more reasons to be proud than ashamed of.

MY COUNTRY

I agree with peolple who says that Spanish people are lazy, but not everybody is lazy.

On the contrary, I´m proud of being Spanish, because we have got a very important cultural heritage. We have got beautiful cities, because of the old part, and the new architecture, for example, in Valencia, Toledo, and Granada.
Also, the Spanish people are very kind and friendly. There are many sportmen and sportwomen and are the most famous in the world, for eample´, Nadal in tennis and F. Alonso in Formula 1.
In my opinion, Spain is a beautiful country and its people are a good example of kindness and hospitality to other countries.

In my opinion, Spain is a great country. Gastronomy is better than in the USA. For instance, ham is a food that only Spanish people eat, paella, it is a famous food from Valencia, and it's tipycal for foreigners to eat it. Furthermore, the Olympic Spanish teams of football and basketball are the best teams in the world, Spain is a great country in sports.
Bullfigthing is also tipycal in this country, but there are some people who are ashamed of it. Although Spain has a lot of good things,it has so many bad things.
On the one hand, the country is a very rich in museums, important, famous palaces... We have also got National Health Service and education from the state, which is better than the private. On the other hand, music and cinema aren't so good, but the actors and singers are working hard to improve it.
In conclusion, I'm very proud of Spain because there are more good things than bad things, and it is cool.

I am both pround and ashamed to be a citizen of Spain. On the one hand,in Spain, not only the economy is very developed, but also, the traffic is very convenient. But if the country has those virtues, it will have also an awful traffic and much pollution. I always image the country without noise and polluted air, and without traffic jams, and people more friendly. So in my opinion, Spain will be such a country in the future.
On the other hand, Spain is full of artistic painters, here there are many famous artist, for example,Goya. There are also many museums. Perhaps that explains why culture,especially theather and painting, is so successful. Furthermore, I am also pround of the good food in Spain.In Spanish we call it Jamón (ham) y 'paella', those are very famous in Spain and also in the world.
Living in Spain means that your life can be comfortable and exciting, because there are many big department stores, you will love shopping if you live here. If you want your children have high education, it´s appropiate to live in Spain.
In conclusion, Spain is not perfect. However, in my opinion, there are more things to be pround of than ashmed of.

An opinion about Spain.

My country has bad and good things, but I believe it has more bad things than good, because I do not like the laws or politicians that rule Spain. The government spends much money to repair roads or places that are already in good condition and they do no rearrange what is really essential. At the moment, one of the worst things in Spain is the education system and on the other side the pollution of everyday in big towns.
My country also has some good things, like offering people many opportunities and also, apart of being one of the most developed countries it has inherited a great culture. Spain is also good at film production and music.
People forget to recycle waste and not to pollute the environment, they do not cooperate in it, besides, the politicians try to deceive us with very important issues on health such as sweine flue.

Holidays in Poland

Poland is located in the center of Europe near the Baltic Sea. It is a small, beautiful country. The northern part of Poland, located near Baltic Sea, has beautiful beaches. In the middle part of Poland, there are many industrial cities with factories.
If you like beaches and parties, you should go to northern part of Poland. The best, the most beautiful town is Sopot, which is located by the Baltic Sea. We call it the Polish Las Vegas because it exists only for entertainment. Sopot is not large; there is one main street where you can find all the entertainment famous in Sopot.
The southern part of Poland is quite different. It is a perfect place for tourists who love mountains. The Polish mountains, Tatry, are special because of the view and skiing. They are one of the oldest mountains in Europe. Another place in the South is the famous city of Krakow, the oldest Polish city, which used to be the capital. In Krakow is Wawel. This is the place where polish kings once lived. Krakow is also famous for the university, which is over 300 years old, making it the oldest university in Poland. In this area you can also find Wieliczka, the salt mines.
Another place that you should not miss is Wadowice, the hometown of Jan Paul II (the Polish Pope). Near Krakow there is one special place named Oswiecim. It used to be one of the "death camps" created by Hitler during the World War II. It is incredible to see the terrible ways the Germans killed people.
As you can see Poland is the perfect country to go on vacation. Poland makes a perfect vacation for everybody. I am sure it can satisfy every tourist even You.

A Trip to Granada.

Dear Sue,
I'm writing to tell you that next week Anne and I are going on holiday to Granada for one week, you see? If you would like to come with us, we would leave on Monday at Méndez Álvaro coach station, at 15:00 hrs. The journey would take us about 5 hours. If all goes well the arrival is due at 20.00, then we would go to the Palma Hotel. Once we are installed the fun will start until late that night.

Festivals of Toro (Zamora).

Toro is a town in the province of Zamora, its festivals are held the last week of August in honor of its patron saint Agustin. At the beginning the queen of the festival is elected who will have to attend all the events during the festival of Saint Augustin and the rest of the year (as to novenas in honor of the Virgin Mary, the procesions at Easter, etc ...). The festivity starts with the opening presented by the municipal bands together with the authorities and the presence of the Mayor. This festivity will last for a week in which the fun is guaranteed, because there are contests, dances, concerts, discos, young bulls running and bullfightings.
So go and see it this summer.

What Can Children Play?

It's true that in the past, children were happy playing with a few toys or they inventend them, but they could do a lot of things freely, now if they step on the grass, people can tell them to keep off it.
If they play a game and children climb a tree or hide somewhere or do something riski on the streets people tell them no to do.
If they play football people shout at them, because children can damage their cars. If children can't do anything freely outside, they have to stay at home, so its understandable that they need new games to play with at home.

Are Children Happier Now Than in The Past?

Children in the past were happier in accordance with the few toys they owned than now? What has happened?
Children nowadays are asking for more and more toys. That will probably be because children today are more spoiled than in the past. Circumstances have changed and now there are more toys to choose in the market.
Could today's children live like clidren in the past?
In my opinion I think it could not be possible because if a child is used to living with toys to enjoy his/her life, I don't think it would be a wonderful life for them to live without toys.

Another question, are they happier now or in the past?
In my opinion children in the past, because what children like most is to be cared of than having objects and toys. In the past they used to live in a family with little money but with a lot of care, and now we want to supply all by buying toys and paying for things.

The European Elections

In the European elections of 2009 we must vote the Members of Parliament representing the citizens in the political period to run from the year 2009 untill 2014.

These elections will be held on Sunday June 7th, 2009, which is the right day for elections in each member state.

The Euro-deputies are elected in each Member State separately, the nomination of candidates is limited to national political parties. However, parties of different states, but with the same political ideology, often join forces to form political parties at European level, the kernels of the parliamentary groups in the future European Parliament.

Do Animals Feel or Do Not Feel?

I think it is true that animals feel like a person because it is a being that lives like us, the same as humans feel, if they feel pain they cause damage, they don't cry but feel sadnees ...
Although I don't think the same of all kind of animals.
A lot of investigations show that a lot of animals,do miss, and smile, they are enthousiastic, and so on, even they fall in love. It has been demonstrated in cases where pets like dogs can die becuause of depression and the absence of a loved one.
On the other hand, many reseachers are skeptical, so they say that they can't give human qualities to something that is not.
Apart from emotions, there are instictive reactions, predictable bahaviour, and of course the possibility of more complex emotions in animals.
In conclusion, I believe and even more, I am sure that animals feel like human beings.

Linkin Park

Linkin Park is my favorite music band and they are from The United States(LA. California).
The group consists of six members, Mike Shinoda, Chester Bennington, Joe Hahn, Brad Nelson, Rob Bourdon and Dave Farrel.
The principal singers are Mike and Chester. They had recorded a lot of CDs but my favorite is Meteora with the song A Place for My Head.

Simple Plan

My favourite music band is Simple Plan, they are Canadian and play pop-rock music. They had edited three studio CDs: No Pads, No Helmets, just Balls; Still not Getting Any; Simple Plan. They edited three live Cds too: Live in Japan 2002, MTV Hard Rock, Live CD Mante 2008.They appeared in an Olsen’s Twins film, New York Minute
Their most famous songs are Welcome to My Life (my favourite one), Shut Up, When I’m Gone and I’m just a Kid. They play balads too like Untittled or Perfect.

Fly Away Home

When I was around 8 years old, my favourite film was Fly Away Home (volando libre) in Spanish. It is about a girl, Amy, whose mother died and she had to move on with his father, a strange echologist who lived in Canadá.

Amy found a left nest with geese eggs, she took them home and covered them with scarfs and handkerchiefs. Some weeks later, sixteen eggs became geese, and they followed her everywhere. But a policeman realised that and tried to cut geese’s wings if they wanted to stay there. At the end, Amy and her father decided to carry their geese to a Natural Reserve during the migration season, they drove them flying with little aeroplanes. The following migration season, the geese returned home with Amy and her father.

In this film we can see that animals have feelings and can return to the place they feel their home.

Finding Nemo

I'm talking about the Film Finding Nemo, it's a disney pixar movie.

When his son Nemo is captured by a scuba-diver, a nervous-nellie clownfish named Marlin sets off into the vast ocean to find him. Along the way he hooks up with a scatterbrained blue tang fish named Dory, who's both helpful and a hindrance at the same time. Faced with sharks, deep-sea anglers, fields of poisonous jellyfish, sea turtles, pelicans, and much more, Marlin rises above his neuroses in this wonderfully funny and nonstop thrill ride-rarely does more than 10 minutes pass without a sequence destined to become a theme park attraction.
I like so much that film, and if you din't see it you should do it.

I have looked for small animals in the movies that showed his feelings. One example is Dumbo, Mickey, Leon King, Bugs, Bambi those are examples of movies where the animals show their feelings. What I like most is Lion King and I like lions too. Practically every movie in which feelings are shown has beeb Disney production films

Summary of the Film: The Lion King.

Another type of movies,the best for children, is the animals movies. Maybe the most popular is The Brave Piglet. But in the last years a lot of animals movies have been created. For example: Madagascar 1 and 2, Nemo, Kung Fu Panda, Ratatouille, Shark......
In this films the animal can talk and feel like humans. Usually this movies show a funny story with bad and god animals.
Normally rats or sharks are the villain of the film, because kids ussually don't like them and dogs, like 101 Dalmatas or cats are the heroes.

Have Animals Got Feelings?

I think that animals must have feelings because I have got two dogs and I can see them everyday. Sometimes they are happy or sad and when you give some food to one of them the other gets jealous. And I see that they love us two because when member of my family is ill, dogs lick him and they are really kind to that person. But you can see that whereever, animals are nicer with some people than with other kind of people. For example, a police-dog is happier when he finds a lost person or when he helps to find drugs they look happier. Another reason is that they feel sad when they make a bad action and they can also cry.

Movies

I love action films.
They are really interesting and so entertaining. Most of action movies are American's and there are a lot of popular actors like Bruce Willis (El quinto elemento), Tom Cruise (El últimoSamurai), Nicolas Cage and Sean Connery (La Roca), George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Juia Roberts (Ocean's Twelve) or Will Smith (Yo Robot).
Films starred by this actors are usually good films and have a lot of fans.

Anothe style of music that is everytime at the top is the Pop-Rock. Bands of pop-rock are Fito y los fitipaldis, El canto del Loco, Amaral, Rihanna, Melendi, El sueño de morfeo, La oreja de Van Gohg, Coti, Jarabe de palo, Estopa, Efecto mariposa y Conchita.

Talking about music I want to mention a style of music that everybody listens to nowadays, Rock.
I think this is the kind of music that people would always like, because some others were popular for some years in the past but later nobody listened to them.

One of my Favourite Flms

One of my favorite film is Breackfast at Tiffany's a 1961 American film directed by Blake Edwards starring Audrey Hepburn. The film tells the story about a one-year friendship between the main character, Holly Golightly and an unnamed narrator. Both are tenants in a brownstone apartment in Manhattan's Upper East Side. Holly Golightly is a Texas-born country hick turned New York cafe society girl, who makes her living coaxing dollars off of rich, older gentlemen. The narrator, who lives in the flat above her, is an aspiring writer. Golightly, who likes to stun people with carefully selected tidbits from her personal life or her outspoken viewpoint on various topics, slowly reveals herself to the narrator. In the end, however, Golightly fears that she will never know what is really hers until after she has thrown it away; she subsequently abandons her friend to seek her ever elusive goal of finding both riches and a place to call home. I recommend you to see it!

Interesting information about the " Virus A"

It's really depressing to see how people have been left surprised by a few days of TV and Radio programmes because of the "Swine Influenza".

Thursday night Mr Calderon sent a message to the nation saying that there had been an outbreak of swine flu virus which is a "new and incurable" and had already caused several deaths, immediately said: do not leave the house, do not go to school, to the movies, to clubs, etc. But he never said: "Do not be afraid". Sure, as if we all were sick.

Reading a little and certainly not listening to the whole ball of nonsense they have said on television, for example,that they have found a virus similar to the one that appeared years ago and was known as the "Asian flu", which is a smokescreen to mask the serious economic situation that they were living in Asia at that time.

The situation in Mexico is similar, the same Thursday night the Senate was approving the bill to legalize drugs, which allows the carrying of small doses of marijuana, cocaine, opium, crystal and other drugs; forgive my lack of attention, but I have not seen any news that they have discussed all about that and the law will be passed by the Chamber of Deputies on Tuesday night 28th of April.

Easter in Poland

Easter is preceded by forty days of Lent which starts on Ash Wednesday. The Sunday before Easter is called Palm Sunday and this day is the beginning of Holy Week. Just before Easter there is Good Friday which celebrates crucifixion of Jesus Christ.
A very interesting custom is maintained on Saturday when people go to the church in order to have their food blessed. This tradicional food is above all eggs which are painted in different colours and patterns, ham or sausage, bread and piece of Easter cake with raisins.
The central day of Easter is Easter Sunday. On this day many families gather together at breakfast. Generally presents are not given on Easter, except for some region of Poland for example Wielkopolska where chocolate eggs and sweats are given to children by rabbits. The symbol of Easter are eggs, rabbits and chicks.
The day after Easter is known as Easter Monday. On this day there is a custom of dousing people with water. It is the last day of Easter celebration.

My plans for the Easter holidays!

Well, today is the last day of classes before the Easter holidays, and I´m very excited about returning to England for a while. It will be great to see my family and friends again, especially my best friend, as it´s her 21st birthday next week and we´re going to have a party!

I´m also looking forward to eating my mum´s homecooked food again, as she cooks very well, whereas I´m not good at cooking at all! She has tried to teach me before, but I don´t learn very quickly!

I think the thing I´m looking forward to most is relaxing at home with my family, and sleeping in my own bed!

Another Reason to Get a Tattoe

Another reason for people to get a tattoe on their skin is that they want to be accepted in a group of friends. Maybe they think they will be more popular or have more respect if they have a tattoe, but it's true that people like it and a lot of people get tattoe because they like it, as Geraldine says before.

Travelling to Andorra

On January the 15th, the school groups 1ºA and 1ºB went to Andorra to ski. We travelled by bus and it took us about 9 hours to get there.
Our ordianry day was like that. We had to go up to ski on the snowy slopes at 9:00 and we had to stay there until 17:00 in the afternoon. Then we travelled back to the hotel or we went to some place to have dinner at 16:00 Then our teachers let us have our free time until 11:00, the time we had to go to our rooms. Then, very very soon we had to get up again, at 7:00 to star our day all ower again.

What I like most besides skiing was the spa.

Why do many young people get tattoed today?

Today people get tattoes because it is a fashion and also because a lot of people like it, especially the youngest. Most of them have got tattoes because they have special meaning for them, for example,there are people who have a broken chain tatooed, that means that they feel free, that they don't depend on anybody. Today most of the famous artists get tattoes, for example, David Beckham has got the name of his children tatooed, and so a lot of celebrities too, like Angeline Jolie, who has tattoed the coordinates of where/when her children were born.

In conclusion, most people wo are wearing them because it is something very significant for them, or simply because they like having their body tatooed, perhaps as an ornament for their skin.

Mariano José de Larra. A Spanish Writer.

Hi, this year we celebrate the second anniversary of the birth of
Mariano José de Larra. Larra was a Spanish writer and journalist and one of the most important exponents of the Spanish Romanticism. It ranks alongside Espronceda, Becquer and Rosalia de Castro, the highest level of Romantic Literature. He wrote under different Spanish pen names: Figaro, Duende, and The Bachelor, .... Larra committed suicide at the age of 28.
Our School wants to celebrate the centenary of his birthdate. A Commission has been created which has recently started doing some research on different subjects, to make the students take part in different activities, so all that could turn into an Exhibition or a book at the end of this School year. That way we can cooperate more positibly on our side to this event.

Do You Like Football?

Do you like football and which is your favourite team?
I like it very much and my favourite team is Liverpool, did you watch the match Liverpool vs. Real Madrid last Wednesday? Real Madrid was beaten 4-0.
The Liverpool slogan says "You will never walk alone" and I like that.
I think English football teams are really great and nowadays they are becoming very popular.

Teenager's Tattoos

Tattooing has become for young people more fashionable. One reason may be that they like to carry a picture on their body, but sometimes such a picture or symbol is attached to belonging to a social group, and sometimes to a radical one.
I think parents should give their children some freedom to get their bodies tattooed, but if they are a kind of radical group and may hurt other people, they should be banned. The Philosopher said taht a person's body is the mirror of the soul, but if the soul is violent or aggressive, then, it´s better not to be represented with tattoos on their body. We are talking about those whose way of thinking is mainly violent.

The popular Park "The Retiro"

Retiro Park is one of the most important and historical parks in the city. It is in the middle of the town. There is the garden of the monastery of "Jeronimos". In this park you can see the Army Museum that now is outside this area. The park has got a great diversity of sculptures. We can stop to watch the monument "El angel caido".
The Conde Duque of Olivares created the whole park Buen Retiro. In the gardens there are works of the architect Herrero Palacios.
The pond is the centerpiece of the park and you can practice or hire a rowing boat.
The Retiro is the most important historical park of the city. There are trees including the chestnust, cherry trees, bananas, birch, and olive trees. There are also important buildings, "The Crystal Palace", where you can see some exhibitions.
In the eighteenth century people were allowed to enter in the summer and autum. Men have to enter discovered, cascada dressed and well combed. They couldn't carry a hat. Women couldn't bring a mantilla or a scarf.

Winter sports

Because so many of our class are away skiing in Andorra, I thought that I would write about some other winter sports that people can practice. First, there is ice-skating, which is great fun and also very good exercise.

I LIKE MADRID

Madrid is one of the most multicultural cities in Europe.You can hear all kind of languages from Russian to Swahilly, but most af all the European languages.

In Madrid you can use any king of transport, but the mos popular is the underground, the Metro.

Martial Arts

Hi, my name is Maximo, and I live in Madrid, in Aluche district. I love all kind of sports, above all gimnastics and martial arts (ninjitsu, tae-kwon-do, and loopkicks). I'm a teacher at small school in a gim in a sport center in Aluche district. I teach voluntarely. My martial arts group organises different kinds of exhibitions, about the street arts (parkour, and loopkicks) and competitions (tae-kwon-do). I'm 17 years old, and I am practising these sports for about 6 years and I've learned all of them whitout any tutor

They went to Andorra

Most of our students are now learning how to ski. They are having a wonderful time I hope on top of the mountain range. I do expect that they will show us those beautiful pictures they are taking from the country and from that extraordinary snowy landscape.
