Mariano José de Larra. A Spanish Writer.

Hi, this year we celebrate the second anniversary of the birth of
Mariano José de Larra
. Larra was a Spanish writer and journalist and one of the most important exponents of the Spanish Romanticism. It ranks alongside Espronceda, Becquer and Rosalia de Castro, the highest level of Romantic Literature. He wrote under different Spanish pen names: Figaro, Duende, and The Bachelor, .... Larra committed suicide at the age of 28.
Our School wants to celebrate the centenary of his birthdate. A Commission has been created which has recently started doing some research on different subjects, to make the students take part in different activities, so all that could turn into an Exhibition or a book at the end of this School year. That way we can cooperate more positibly on our side to this event.
